Happy Tuesday Blog Readers. I have been so swamped this month that I can't seem to catch up. It's a good thing I had cards completed ahead so I could quickly post something for you today.

The new Holiday Catalog has been a huge hit and you are all keeping me busy! Thanks for all the orders that have been coming through to my online store. I've had the best month in my whole career with Stampin' Up! and the month is not over with. I love all the emails I've been receiving also....love hearing from all of you!

So today I am showing you a card I created using the Butterfly Framelits Dies. Notice how only the wings are cut out but not the body? Pretty neat trick huh?

What you do is place the butterfly where you want it on your cardstock placed the Big Shot and only add the cutting plate over the framelit on one side at a time, making sure the cutting plate is not directly over the body of the butterfly. So your clear plate is only partially on the butterfly each time. Once the first part of the wing is done, repeat for the 2nd wing:

If you look closely at the butterfly above, you can see where the cutting ended close to the center. That means that's where my cutting plate ended on each side. Remember, the Big Shot cuts with pressure, where the cutting plate ends is where the cutting ends.

I then glued the cut cardstock layer over the card base so the color peeks through. The only stamping that was needed was the body of the butterfly and the sentiment!

Thanks for stopping by to visit me today! Sorry my post was so short, I have lots of classes to get ready for and am trying to play catch up!

Here are the supplies I used today:
