It’s our FIRST Quilt-Cam of 2014!

I’m so excited…look what Rebecca sent in!

She writes:

Hi Bonnie, I just wanted to let you know that your Wonky Wishes block has not been forgotten. Like you mine had to be set aside for other projects. I think this will me my lay out, because I have a stack of gold squares left from another project.  I am not sure on the finished size yet. They have been so much fun to work on. Thank you for another great quilt block! Rebecca S.
Isn’t her setting a fun one?

I’ve been working on these for a while off and on – now it’s more ON than off, since other things have been completed and this one is now on 3rd base.

Here are my blocks so far – corralled in the project box I picked up at Michael’s during the after Christmas sales:

They were half price!  How could I resist?

((I admit it…I am a sucker when it comes to ANY organizer of any kind!  Now if only they would help me really BE organized?))

Tonight I’m sewing on the green Electro-Hygiene!

Only because I haven’t had a chance to switch her out since the LAST time we had Quilt-Cam!  This will be the first time I have sat at her since December 28th?!  Way too long ---

I’m trying something different so bear with me.

You know we have been trying to find the RIGHT camera angle where everything stays focused.  And where my voice isn’t too loud or too soft….and it seems that the BEST ever Quilt-Cams were the in-the-beginning ones where I shot the video from the side…so you can SEE what I’m working on…and I just have to turn a bit when talking to the camera.

Do you want to see what it looks like from my end?

Here we are!

It may not EVER be perfect, because this is not a professional set up, just an old laptop and an external, camera.  But I’m good with that ---

And watching isn’t the main thing…it’s supposed to encourage YOU to sew too, so you are more listening than watching on whether things are crystal clear or not!

So let’s sew!  Click the arrow on the screen below to start the feed.
