There was a little bit of stash enhancement yesterday during our stop in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada!

It was a crazy last minute idea.

But sometimes those turn out to be the best ones!

Mom, Aunt Gail and Aunt Joy had purchased an excursion called “Taste of Victoria” including a panoramic tour of the city, a stop at Buchart Gardens, and lunch at the Gardens and some other goodies.

Irene and I were unable to sign up because there was a waiting list.

And then we didn’t get called at all because the waiting list was too long.

In the end, it worked out great because I took Kathy and Dale up on their offer of driving us to Buchart themselves!

Those of you who were reading me during my last Alaskan Cruise might remember the time they gave us a ride in their 1954 Caddie Limo!  Read that post HERE.

While we didn’t have a limo this time, we did have a guided tour through parts of Victoria I hadn’t seen before, including a quilt shop!
