So this was the invite I mailed all of my girls. I added a little bit of Punch Art:
Isn't the Punch Art BBQ grill the cutest? And I even added a few rows of grasses that I cut with the Fringe Scissors. Here is what I used for the grill:
- Grill Top & Bottom: 2" Circle Punch cut 1 using Real Red Cardstock and cut in half. Add a Silver Mini Brad to assemble both pieces together
- Legs: Word Window Punch cut 3 times with Basic Gray Cardstock. Glue 2 of them to the BBQ vertically at an angle and glue the 3rd one horizontally
- Flames: Bird Punch, cut 2 wings using Crushed Curry Cardstock and glue both of the wings to the back of the bottom cover of the grill
I used the Tag Talk stamp set to stamp the background of my sentiment layer with Pool Party Ink. I used the Label Bracket Punch to punch out the shape and glued it to my mug using Stampin' Dimensionals. The "thanks" was stamped with Early Espresso Ink using the Another Thank You stamp set and hand-cut. That was also glued using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Notice the doily under the cup? That's actually a new product that you will find in the Holiday Catalog that debuts on September 1st. I flipped the "Spider Web Doily" to the back side which is white and glued it to a circle cut with Pool Party Cardstock and the Circles Collection Framelits Dies. Both are layered and glued to the bottom of the mug.
Here are some more close-ups of the flowers and side view of the mug with the handle below:
Another new product in the Holiday Catalog is the "Square Pillow Thinlits Dies". I was able to mass produce these quite quickly. Because I was limited in time, I chose the same design that was presented at the Annual Stampin' Up! Convention. I changed it very slightly but am so pleased with how these came out:
The stamp set used on the pillow box and the utensils is the "Acorny Thank You" and this will be available in the new Holiday Catalog also. We will also have the coordinating punch to cut them all out for you!
