I'm posting something a little different today. I am calling it "Two For Tuesday". What my intentions are is to show you two cards....one simple card and the same card stepped-up, thus creating the 2nd card. Today's cards uses the "Birthday Blossoms" stamp set:

I started with three of the same layers for both cards:
  • Card Base: Whisper White Cardstock measuring 11" x 4-1/4". Score in the center at 5-1/2" and fold.
  • Layer #2: Whisper White Cardstock measuring 5-1/4" x 4".
  • Banner: Rich Razzleberry Cardstock 4" x 1" and punch with the Banner Triple Punch on both ends of the cardstock piece.

Let's continue with Card #1
  • I stamped the flowers using Memento Black Ink diagonally and glued the cardstock to the card base.
  •  I stamped the sentiment using Memento Black Ink on the Rich Razzleberry Cardstock layer and glued to the card.
  • Card complete!
Now let's step it up with Card #2:

  • Using the Dots & Stripes Decorative Mask, Mint Macaron Ink and a Sponge Dauber, arrange post-it notes diagonally as shown below and sponge the ink on the mask to create the circles. Remove post-it notes:

  • Stamp the flowers exactly like you did for Card #1. Glue cardstock layer in place over card base using Stampin' Dimensionals for height.
  • Stamp the sentiment on the Rich Razzleberry Cardstock layer as you did on Card #1. Glue using Stampin' Dimensionals for height.
  • Add White Perfect Accents in the background
  • Card complete!

Isn't it amazing how adding a few additional Stampin' Up! products make a clean & simple card into a wow card? Here are all of the supplies I used for both cards.
