Dave and I visited my parents last week and my Dad was a little under the weather so I'm hoping this will help a little. I really hate to see my parents aging. My Dad has severe COPD and struggles. He is on oxygen 24/7 and is not able to do any physical activity at all. He also had to have surgery on one of his eyes because he had fluid behind the eyeball. His eyesight in that one eye is not back to normal yet so I'm sure it's pretty discouraging. It is supposed to heal with time and he should be able to see perfectly again.
I used the Circle Card Thinlits Die for the card shape. This thinlit is so neat because it cuts and scores everything for you. All you have left to do is add whatever layers you desire:
I used the 2" and the 1-1/2" Circle Punches for layering. The sentiment is punched with the Word Window Punch and layered with Stampin' Dimensionals:
The inside of the circle is left blank and I wrote a small note to my Dad before mailing:
I love how the Dotty Angles stamp image looks on the Very Vanilla Cardstock layer. So perfect for a masculine card. I also stamped and hand-cut the helm and then added color with my Tip Top Taupe Stampin' Write Marker:
