The first card uses the "Embellished Ornaments" stamp set and coordinating "Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Dies". Did you know when purchasing coordinating products that are bundles, you save 15%?
I stamped one ornament and cut it out and used colored cardstock for the 2nd ornament. I wanted to show how you can stamp or not stamp and still use the thinlits either way.
Our 2nd card of the night was a card that was shown and demonstrated at convention this year. I fell in love with all the different techniques that were used so I decided to replicate it. Thanks Brandy Cox for the great idea!
The card uses a little bit of Gold Glitter, a little bit of designer paper, a little bit of Gold Glimmer Paper, embossed leaves, a partial Spider Web Doily that was trimmed and then sponged with ink. Just a little bit of this and that to create a masterpiece. The stamp set used is called "Lighthearted Leaves" and coordinates with the "Leaflets Framelits Dies" from the Annual Catalog. So you now how 2 stamp sets that coordinate with these framelits.
Card #3 was created by all attendees:
We used another bundle for this card, the "Happy Scenes" stamp set and the "Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies". Again, purchase these two products as a bundle and save 15%. The card base was embossed using the "Brick Wall Embossing Folder". We added snow to the corner of each window pane using the "2-Way Glue Pen" and sprinkling "Dazzling Diamonds" to each pane.
Don't forget to stop by Create with Connie & Mary to sign up for our September Mini Session which goes live on September 13th. You won't want to miss it. We are featuring the following stamp sets:
