We've been having a lot of fun with our Mini Session at Create with Connie & Mary. Our team is working on our September projects for our Mini Session and it's not too late to join in. All of the information to sign up is available on the Create with Connie & Mary website!

So Cucumber Crush is our focus for our Saturday Blog Hop today. My first thoughts on using this color was how perfect to go with the the "lettuce" image from the Market Fresh stamp set:

I stamped the image twice so that I could hand-cut and layer the banner portion using Stampin' Dimensionals:

Here are the steps to creating my card:
  • Card Base: Cucumber Crush 11" x 4-1/4". Score in the center at 5-1/2" and fold.
  • Layer #2: Cucumber Crush 5" x 3-4/4". Emboss using the Brick Wall Embossing Folder. Glue to card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Layer #3: Stamp the image using Cucumber Crush Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. Cut out using the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies. Using a Blender Pen, using the ink from your ink pad to add a little bit of Cucumber Crush coloring. Glue to card front centered.
  • Sentiment: Stamp the image a 2nd time and hand-cut the banner only. Glue in place over the first banner using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I have listed to links below to take you to the next blog in our blog hop. You may also go backwards and click on the "previous" stop. Either way works fine!

Here is a listing of the Stampin' Up! supplies I used today:
  • Stamp Set: Market Fresh
  • Inks: Cucumber Crush
  • Cardstock: Cucumber Crush, Whisper White
  • Tools: Ovals Collection Framelits Dies, Brick Wall Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Blender Pen
