I really like the theme of our blog hop today with my teammates at Create with Connie & Mary. Our theme is "Metallica....Gold or Silver Foil Products". We have some great products showcasing our theme so make sure you take the tour of the whole blog hop to see what each one of us used.

So....I've got three products to show you today for our theme:

Gold Foil Sheets
Gold Fancy Designer Vellum Foil
Metallic Foil Doilies

How pretty the gold products look layered with the Pink Pirouette card base and embossed layer:

If you'd like to re-create this card, here are the steps I used:

Card Base: Pink Pirouette Cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". Score in the center at 4-1/4" and fold
Layer #2: Gold Fancy Designer Vellum Foil measuring 5" x 3-3/4". Glue to card base. I used Glue Dots under the gold foil hearts so they wouldn't show through the vellum.
Layer #3: Glue a Metallic Foil Doily (gold) in the center of the card front.
Layer #4: Pink Pirouette Cardstock cut with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch and embossed with the Fluttering Embossing Folder. Use a Sponge Dauber and Pink Pirouette Ink to add ink to the embossing. Glue to the center of the doily using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Layer #5: Cut 2 butterflies using the Bitty Butterfly Punch and the Gold Foil Sheets. Layer the butterflies by gluing the center of the bodies together. Glue butterfly to the embossed layer.
Sentiment: Cut the sentiment from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies using Whisper White Cardstock and glue in place on your card front.
