It is with great pleasure that I show you Day 2 of the Stampin' Up! Punch Art contest for demonstrators. If you missed yesterday's post, I created a Punch Art Fancy Dress.
So this is the list of punches we are using for the contest:
- Pansy, Item #130698
- Hearts Border, Item #133784
- Fun Flower, Item #133785
- Sweetheart, Item #133786
How do you get a flower out of the heart shapes? You cut six hearts for each layer and fold them all in half, that's how! I used the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch and Mint Macaron Cardstock. I then scrunched up the scallop circle and un-scrunched it. This is what I used for a base to glue my first six hearts to the center. The hearts were all cut using the Cherry On Top Designer Paper Stack. The tip of each heart is what I applied adhesive to. Once my first layer of hearts was glued in place, I added the 2nd set of hearts by staggering them in-between the spaces of the first layer. I then glued the flower in place on my card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I completed the flower by adding a smidgen of cardstock cut thin with my Paper Snips and threaded through a Very Vintage Designer Button. I added a sentiment from the Celebrate Today stamp set that was hand-cut and glued in place with Stampin' Dimensionals.
