We have such a fun challenge for you this week at Merry Monday. Nina asked that we create a card with a "funky hat" on it. How fun is that?

I had to get a little creative as I have absolutely no stamp images with hats. I used the Banners Framelits Dies to cut a banner shape with a fold and added elements to create my snowman with a hat card:

The card base is Whisper White Cardstock measuring 10" x 3". I folded in the center at 5" and folded. I placed my Banner Die on top of the cardstock and made sure the fold was inside the framelit so it would stay intact. Once I cut the banner shape, I added Basic Black layers for the hat that were embossed with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder and blinged up with Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim:

For the face I used the 1/2" Circle Punch for the eyes and a 1/4" Handheld Circle Punch for the mouth. The cheeks were sponged with Pink Pirouette Ink using a Sponge Dauber. I added a nose that I hand-cut into a long triangular shape and finished off my eyes by adding squiggly lines with a White Signo Gel Pen:
