Can you believe it's June 1st today and only 7 months away from Christmas? That's why you need to join us at Merry Monday each week. If you create one Christmas card each week, you'll have all of your Christmas cards done in time to send out in December!
This week Kathy is our hostess and the challenge is to add Sparkle, Shimmer or Bling to our cards:
I've got lots of shimmer going on today on my card. Let's take a peek:
I started out by using Soft Sky Cardstock as my card base followed by a layer of Whisper White Cardstock. For my stamped layer, I used Soft Sky Cardstock a 2nd time. The stamped image is embossed twice. Once with Silver Embossing Powder and while still hot from the Heat Tool, I sprinkled with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder and set with my Heat Tool. It really shimmers in real life.
I then used my Soft Sky Stampin' Write Marker to add high-lights to the image here and there.
