This was one of the very first items I added to my Pre-Order from the new 2015-2016 Annual Catalog. It's a super tool to have for last minute gifting.
The first bag I made with the punch board was made to the exact directions but then I wanted to experiment. This is the 2nd bag I made...I even made this gift bag with a flap as you can see in the photo below. The triple-decker ice cream cone is glued in place with Stampin' Dimensionals but I left the top of it free so that the flap tucks under to keep the bag closed:

This is what the flap looks like when opened:
How did I create the flap? I added 2-1/4" for the width of the cardstock. Once all my score lines were created per the instructions from the punch board, I scored a line all the way across at the 2-1/4" measurement and cut off all of the remaining squares but keeping the one I wanted for the flap. I used the punch board to shape each edge of the flap.
Below is a close-up of the ice cream cone created with the Sprinkles of Life stamp set. Did you know that when you purchase this stamp set for yourself, a portion of the proceeds are sent to the Ronald McDonald House Chapters? Stampin' Up! has contributed over $1,000,000.00 to this charity. How wonderful for us to aid in this great cause!
