Today I will be showing you how to create this cute "Rosette Snowflake" to adorn the front of a card.

The punch used to create the rosette is the "Lace Ribbon Border Punch" and we just found out that this punch will no longer be available after May 31st. If you would like to order this punch, make sure you visit my online store before it's gone:

Step 1:

You will need a piece of cardstock measuring 2" x 8 1/4". Using your Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score at every 1/4".

Step 2:

Once you have completed all the scores, use your Lace Ribbon Border Punch and punch the shape the entire length of the strip.

Step 3:

Fold the strip of cardstock by alternating from a mountain fold to a valley fold until you reach the end.

Step 4:

Glue the two ends together by overlapping and forming a ring. I used Tombow Mono-Adhesive for my glue as you will need a strong glue so the ring does not come apart.

Step 5:

Using the 3/4" Circle Punch, cut one and pierce a hole in the center with your Paper Piercer. You will also need a brad for the center. I used an Antique Brad.

Step 6:

Generously apply Mono-Adhesive Glue to the 3/4" circle shape. Using the cardstock strip, push down so that the snowflake rosette is formed and lays flat on your work space. You will need to push on the outside of your rosette until all the center areas are touching together to form a tight rosette. Hold in place with one hand while you push the glued circle in the center with your other hand. Hold in place for a few minutes to set in place. Once the circle stays in place, I used one of my heavy punches and layed it on top of the rosette until the glue was dry for about 10 minutes.

Step 7:

Flip the rosette over and add the Antique Brad to the center. You can now add the rosette to the front of a card or project!
