I always have so much fun with my "Big Shot Girls"! We meet once a month and use as many Big Shot items as possible with at least 3 projects. I mixed things up a bit this month. The first card is masculine and what is special about this one is that we embossed aluminum foil for a background:

Look at the close-up below to see how cool the embossing comes out on the foil:

Card Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
  • DSP: Nautical Expedition (retired)
  • Stamps: The Open Sea, Teeny Tiny Wishes
  • Inks: Night of Navy
  • Tools: Word Window Punch, Texturz Plates, Ribbon Punch, Labels Collection Framelits, Stampin' Dimensionals, Big Shot Machine
For project #2, we used layers of DSP cardboard to give dimension to the card:

The cardboard was used on the butterfly and the scalloped layer:

Card Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Very Vanilla
  • DSP: Everyday Enchantment (SAB)
  • Inks: Calypso Coral & Pool Party Stampin' Write Markers
  • Stamps: Fresh Vintage, Teeny Tiny Wishes
  • Accessories: Everyday Enchantment Brads & Ribbon (SAB)
  • Tools: Scallop Square Die, 3/4" Circle Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Beautiful Butterflies Die, Word Window Punch
and the final card for the night:

I just LOVE this new Elegant Bird Die. The possibilities are endless!

  • Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake
